Alex Molnar

ALEX MOLNAR, beloved companion of Verna Meloche, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre at the age of 82 years. He is the loving father of: Carrie (Casey) Kerner, Stephanie (Rob) May, Doug Jensen, and Warren (Becky) Molnar. Alex leaves behind nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild; also a brother Frank (Jeanine) Molnar, a sister Mary (Larry) Glover, sister-in-law Jeanne Molnar, brother-in-law Allen Meroniuk, and many nieces and nephews. Alex is predeceased by his parents Steve and Anna Molnar, sister Elizabeth Meroniuk, and brother Joseph Molnar. Alex loved his career as a trucker for over 50 years. He enjoyed swimming, biking, poker and travelling. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Pastor Dave Acree officiating. A family interment will be held prior to the Service at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond. The family would like to thank Dr. Ireland and the staff at St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2M7.
