Yvonne 'Bonnie' Hawkes

 Yvonne (Bonnie) Harris Hawkes died peacefully in her sleep on May 18, 2024 in Raymond, Alberta.  Daughter of Yvonne and Harold Harris, and sister of Irene Palmer, Elaine Remington (deceased), Jeananne Hutchings, Tom Harris (deceased).  Beloved wife of Keith G. Hawkes (deceased) and blessed mother to Candice (deceased), Glen (deceased) (Cindy) Hawkes, Douglas (deceased), Wendie (Gary) Low, Laurie (Gordon) Low, Jeanan (Decon) Shaw and Joshua (Kirsten) Hawkes. 

 Bonnie was Grandmother to 19, Great Grandmother to 55 and Great Great Grandmother to 5. Her family meant everything to her and she experienced the greatest joy when they were all together.  She celebrated with them and encouraged them throughout her life.  Her optimistic nature and sense of humor were her hallmarks.  She was singular and remarkable, a joy to be with.  Up until the very end she had a quip or witty comeback to share.  Bonnie loved music and sang throughout her life.  Her voice, her wisdom, her simple faith will be missed. 

  A funeral will be held in the Cobblestone LDS Chapel in Raymond, Alberta on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  Friends may greet the family at 10:00 a.m.
