Steven Chase Ashton

    It is with unfortunate and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Steven Chase Ashton of Lethbridge, AB - youngest son of Renay Ashton of Lethbridge, AB and son of Keary Ashton of Glenwood, AB.
    Steven's journey ended on April 30th, 2024 in Edmonton, AB. He was 31 years young.
    Steven leaves to mourn his two children, Mckinlee Christie and Jayson Desfosses, His mother Renay Ashton, his father Keary Ashton, his stepdad Jason Grant, his sister Jessica Wiebe, his Aunt Ivy Wolftail and his niece Hayley Bronson.
    Steven is predeceased by Trevor Melnychuk of Lethbridge, his grandparents Edwin and Mildred Therriault of Pincher Creek, AB and grandparents Dave and Betty Grant of Lethbridge, AB and great grandma Teckla Birkedal of Lethbridge AB.
    Steven was born in Pincher Creek, AB, on June 6, 1992. Steven enjoyed spending most of his summers with his grandparents Edwin and Mildred and his Auntie Ivy in Pincher Creek. This is where he would make most of his fondest childhood memories. Steven enjoyed going 4x4ing and mud bogging with his mother Renay and stepdad Jason. He also enjoyed being anywhere outdoors. Steven had a strong passion for cooking - he often talked about wanting to become a chef. Steven enjoyed being a rebellious and dare devil child for as long as we all could remember.
    Please join us in celebrating the life of Steven Ashton at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home on Friday May 10th at 2 pm. Viewing for the family to take place before the funeral at 1 pm. Short reception to follow the service.
