Reah LeNaire Jensen

       Our sweet Mother slipped away peacefully at the Prairie Ridge Good Samaritans Lodge in Raymond in the early morning hours of November 8, 2025 at the age of 93. I (Lynne) and her daughter-in-law, Millie, were blessed to have been by her bedside in those final moments to hold her hand, kiss her cheek, and say “I love you” one last time. She knew she was not alone. 
       Mom will truly be missed by her four Children, many Grandchildren, Greats, Great-Greats, and even two Great-Great-Greats! Her expressions of love came in many different ways through the years, but the hooked pillows and the hundreds of crocheted animals, dolls & games, each stitch created with love, will keep her memory alive for every member of our family, both young and old.
       But we lost our “real Mom” a few years ago as her health failed and she was forced to give up what brought her the most joy in life, family time! Oh, how we have missed her presence at all those special family occasions for way too long! But we are comforted in knowing that she can breathe and walk again without assistance, free from oxygen tanks and masks, a walker, and a wheelchair.
       Mom has wanted to go Home for a very long time and, as sad as we are to let her go, we are happy for her. We mourn her loss, but are at peace knowing she is safe, happy and healthy in the arms of our Savior, and greeted by so many loved ones on the other side of the veil. We know Dad, Roddy, Grandma & Grandpa, a grandson, Clayton, two great grandchildren, Tanner & Sophie, her sister, Elsa, and others were greeting her with open arms as we were saying our tearful “Goodbye for now, Mom.” Heaven is just a little bit closer, and we know we will be with her again because Families are Forever!
       We want to thank her Ridgeview Lodge Family, where she called home for several years. She loved you all, and made many wonderful memories there. And what a blessing it was for her to be able to share a home once again with her own siblings, Rod, Ivy (now deceased), Floy and Marilyn! The move across the street was a difficult one for her, and for all of us, so we want to thank the Prairie Ridge Lodge & Brett from Raymond Home Care for caring for our Mom these last few months, making a difficult transition just a bit easier for her. Also, thank you to Generations Funeral Home for their compassionate assistance with every detail of the service. 

       We express gratitude to so many friends and family who have reached out to our family at this very difficult time, as well as to the Prairie Ridge Branch & the Raymond Taylor Street Ward for assisting with the family luncheon. 

        We will celebrate Mom’s life with a Private Immediate Family Service.
