Peter 'Pete' James Christensen

    Peter James Christensen, known as P.J. throughout his childhood and Pete throughout his adult years, was born in Raymond on April 1, 1974 to Peter and Rebecca Christensen. Pete died August 27, 2020 in Pincher Creek, Alberta and is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, daughters Erica, Sariah, Brosie, Mara and son Archie. He is predeceased by brother Leland and survived by two sisters Rachel and Lydia and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

As a pharmacist he was loved and respected by all patrons whom he served wherever he worked. Pete was an avid camper, enjoying outdoor activities of all sorts, especially cycling and hockey. Pete’s sense of humour and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

    Friends may meet with the family from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge. The Funeral Service will be held on the Christensen Family Farm in Welling, Alberta on Saturday, September 5 at 1:30 p.m. – 213015, Township Road 64. 

    Masks will be mandatory. Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
