Mary Myrtle (Kitt) Joss

Mary Myrtle (Kitt) Joss beloved wife of Tom Joss of Lethbridge, passed away at Cardston, AB, on September 5, 2025, at the age of 88 years.

She is the loving mother of;

Mitchell Kitt (deceased) of Lethbridge, AB

Raymond (Cheryl) Kitt of Champion, AB

Lorraine (Perry) Armstrong of Ontario

Niels Kitt of Lehbridge, AB

Darren Kitt (deceased) of Lethbridge, AB

Mary has 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandkids as well as step grandchildren.

Mary is predeceased by her first husband Paul Kitt, Sons; Mitchell and Darren Kitt, and her second husband Tom Joss. As well as her parents and siblings.

Mary was born on September 18, 1936 to Nels and Sophie Grant of Manning, AB. She attended school and met her first husband Paul Kitt. Mary and Paul were married on July 5, 1959. Mary and Paul raised their 5 children in Picture Butte until Pauls untimely death in 1991.

Mary later married Tom Joss and resided in Lethbridge until Tom’s death. Mary moved to Legion Arms Senior complex and remained there until April 2025. She was moved to Lee Crest LTC in Cardston where she passed away.

Viewing will be held at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home (703- 13 Street N. Lethbridge), Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 6-7pm.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 at St. Basils Church (604-13 Street N, Lethbridge) at 1pm.
