Margaret (Dzuris) Pizzey

Margaret Pizzey, beloved wife of Jim Pizzey of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on April 5, 2023, at the age of 83 years.

She is survived by her loving husband Jim; her children Jackie Sheridan of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Derek (Grace) Pizzey of Seattle, Washington. As well as five grandchildren.

Margaret was predeceased by her siblings Mary Fransen, Mike Dzuris, Fred Dzuris, Ann Stewart, Euloa Klask, and Steven Dzuris.

She was born in Chip Lake, Alberta on July 2, 1939. She attended Wild Wood High School before getting married to Jim Pizzey on December 31, 1961. Margaret was blessed with two children: Jackie and Derek; and five grandchildren: Elissa, Brett, Faith, Nicholas and Luke.

Margaret loved Jesus, her family, and her many friends. She delighted in sports of all kinds and enjoyed live music and dancing.

Margaret’s bright spirit and kind heart will live on in her children and grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, with a family greeting and reception to take place at 12:00 P.M, Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. at Joyful House of Prayer, 336 – 13th St N, Lethbridge, Alberta. Internment at Archmount Cemetery to follow.
