Lois Myrtle (Dudley) Gilbert

The family of Lois Myrtle Gilbert are sad to announce her unexpected passing in Raymond, Alberta on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the age of 75. 

Surviving family include children Trevor (Cheri) and James (Chrissy); grandchildren Ari, Avry, Jeter & Joy (Trevor & Cheri) and TJ, Myles & Kezia (James); her brother Howard (Janet) Dudley. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Gilbert and her sister Karen (Egon). 

Lois was born in High River, Alberta on May 25, 1950. Her early years were spent growing up in Magrath, Alberta. She married Arthur Gilbert on August 20, 1976, and they were later sealed in the Cardston, Alberta Temple.  

Lois loved cross stitching which kept her busy. She was proud of the work she did and loved to show everyone what she accomplished. Most of all Lois loved her grandchildren. She loved being around them, attending their events, and telling everyone else about them. Living at Ridgeview Lodge in Raymond Lois made many friends with the other residents and was loved by the staff. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, her faith helped her to find peace in life. 

Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026  at Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge, AB,  at 11:00AM,  followed by a Celebration of Life at the Raymond Stake Center (2 N 200 W, Raymond, AB) at 1:00PM.
