Larry was born August 28, 1943, in Central Butte, Saskatchewan, and moved to Moose Jaw as a young boy. As a young newlywed he found his way west as a manager of the A&W in Lethbridge where he started his family settling in Coaldale. Larry worked most of his career as a sales rep for McDonalds Consolidated. He spent his days on the road travelling all over Southern Alberta selling and visiting with customers. In his spare time he coached his sons in hockey and loved the game of golf. He worked hard and was lucky enough to retire early and spent his first few years living and golfing in Arizona. He returned to Alberta in the early 2000 finally settling in Lethbridge in 2010. The family would like to thank the staff of Edith Cavell Care Centre who took such good care of Larry over the last seven years of his life battling dementia.
