Kenneth 'Ken' Leroy Christensen

Kenneth (Ken) Christensen, beloved husband to Katie for the past 65 years, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at the age of 86 in Lethbridge,AB.

He was the loving father of Doug (Tracey) Christensen and Cheryl (Greg) Garner, both of Lethbridge, and proud grandfather to Morgan and MacCoy Garner. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Ken is survived by his siblings: sister Cindy (Gord) Rombough, brother Bob Christensen, and sister Kerri (Ross) Potvin.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Oneda Christensen of Lethbridge; his sister, Karen Brown; and his brother, Bill (Donna) Christensen.

Ken loved fishing, golfing, and curling. He dedicated 33 years of service to the City of Lethbridge as Parking and Traffic Supervisor.

Ken will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

At Ken’s request, no formal funeral services will be held.

Friends may gather to visit with the family on Saturday, July 19, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at MIZ City Church (side entrance), 502 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, for a light luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Jack Ady Cancer Centre.
