KATIE LOUISE (HARRIS) TAYLOR

August 23, 1981-December 16, 2020

     Our dear daughter, sister, mother, and friend passed away in Lethbridge, Alberta, at the age of 39.  She is survived by her sons, Malachi and Tegan, their Dad, Brenton Taylor; her parents, Ken and Cathie Harris of Fort Macleod; her siblings Joel (Janelle), Alayna (Eric Chatterton), Natalie (Daniel Hinman), Mitchell (Kami), Patrick (Camille), Bradley, and Chelsie, as well as many nephews and nieces.

     She is predeceased by her grandparents, L. Harold and Deon Harris, and Gordon and Catherine Hudson.

     Katie was born in Edmonton, moved to Lethbridge as a young child, and then to Fort Macleod with her family.  She attended the University of Lethbridge and completed degrees in Music and Education. Katie loved her boys and her family.  She loved the Lord and was happy to serve.  She was very talented and loved music, drama, performing, and dancing.  Katie loved people, teaching, and her students.  She had many good friends and had an amazing ability to connect with and bring joy to others.  She will be deeply missed.

     Friends may meet with the family at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. For those wishing to attend please call the funeral home (403-382-3601) to book a time. Masks are mandatory.
