Katherine Elizabeth Simpson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katherine "Katie" Simpson, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left this world far too soon. Katie peacefully passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 44.

She is survived by her cherished son Hunter, her sister and best friend Rose Ricketts, and two special souls who brought light into her life, Haidin and Leandra. Katie’s warmth, kindness, and deep love will live on in their hearts—and in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

Katie now rests peacefully with those who went before her: her Nanny Patricia, Grandpa Cyril, Brother Bobby, and Uncle Derek. We imagine her arrival was met with wagging tails and unconditional love from her fur babies — Sophie, Miley, and Kody — who surely ran to greet her first.

Katie had a heart as big as her love for all things pink and glittery. Her infectious smile could light up any room, and her laughter brought joy to everyone around her. She treasured time with her friends and family, sharing stories, meals, and unforgettable moments.

We will feel her presence in the soft blush of a pink sky, in the comfort of her favorite Starbucks drink, and in the food she so loved to share—especially with her two favorite boys, Hunter and Haidin.

Her spirit, laughter, and love will remain with us always.
