JOAN HAIN

    The family of Joan Hain are deeply saddened to announce her passing on October 22, 2021.

    Joan was born to Alfred and Bernice Harper, on October 20, 1929, in Winnipeg Manitoba.  She married Bruce Hain in 1950, and together they had 4 children.  Joan dedicated most of her life to raising and caring for her children.  She excelled at everything she did, some of which included gardening, she grew the most incredible roses, golfing, playing the organ, and she was a talented oil painter.  She also loved to travel, especially her and Dads winter trips to Hawaii, and her time spent in the mountains.

    Mom will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Hain, son Allan (Cheryl) Hain, and their children Laken and Landa; daughter Diane (Clayton) Mercer, and their daughter Baylli; Bobs children, Steven, and Delaney; and an ever-growing number of great grandchildren; her sisters, Shirley Crystal, and Loreen Harper.

    Joan is predeceased by her parents Alfred and Bernice Harper, her husband Bruce Hain, son Bob Hain, and sister Diane Campbell.

    Mom’s presence, strength and humor will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

    Rest easy Mom.

    At Joan’s request there will be no funeral service.
