Jayne Carol Gillespie

GILLESPIE, Jayne

February 5, 1958 – April 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jayne (Carol) Gillespie on April 9, 2021 at the age of 63 years.  She passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, AB after a short battle with cancer.

Jayne was born and raised in Crandall, MB.  At the age of 13, she moved with her parents to Claresholm, AB, where she met many lifelong friends, including her husband, Kevin.

Jayne brought joy and laughter into the world with her quick wit and penchant to tease.  She loved camping, curling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends telling stories and playing cards.  Though health complications prevented Jayne from enjoying her favorite activities through recent years, she maintained her sense of humour and relished spending time with loved ones.

Jayne will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband Kevin; children Chris (Jolene) and Danielle; grandchildren Evan and Gracen; sisters Lynne (Lee) Riege and Sandy (Glenn) Adams; and numerous extended family and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Mavis Van Buskirk; sister Jo (Diane) Winter; and brother-in-law Glenn Adams.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no service held at this time.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
