Henry Lankhorst

We are saddened to announce the passing of Henry Lankhorst, on February 21, 2023 at the age of 65 after a difficult battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved children, Gerrit Lankhorst, Brennen Lankhorst, and Malorie (Thomas) Guo; as well as his granddaughter, Sophia Guo.

Henry also leaves behind his siblings, Delores (Fred), Raymond, Diane (John), Ingrid, Mary-Anne, Brigitte (Harvey), and Gerald; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews who all hold fond memories of Henry.

Henry was born on April 20, 1957 in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew up in Chilliwack, BC, with his seven siblings. Henry left home at an early age and ventured to Lethbridge, Alberta where he eventually started his own electronic company, H.L. Electronics.

Henry loved knee-boarding and boating, working, driving his Mustang, building houses, going to the gym, playing crib, blasting music, traveling to Hawaii, and all-you-can-eat buffets.

The family would like to thank the Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit for the kind and loving care provided.

For those who wish, a Funeral Liturgy will take place to celebrate the life of Henry at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge.
