HELEN MARGARET QUAPP
March 3, 1929 – August 26, 2021
Helen Margaret Quapp, beloved wife of Bill Quapp, passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was a woman of deep faith and persevered through much adversity claiming the scripture found in Philippians 3:8 “Finally brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.”
Helen Quapp is survived by her husband Bill Quapp, daughter Marg Penner (Eric), son Don Quapp (Charlotte), and her daughter-in-law Ruth Braun (Ray), 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a large extended family. She is also survived by her two sisters, Margaret DeLaet (Ben), and Anne Klinko (Thomas). She is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Margaret Giesbrecht, son David, great grandson John Jacob Holler, and brothers John and Edward Giesbrecht.
Bill and Helen were married on March 18, 1951, celebrating their 70th anniversary this year. They spent their entire married life on the farm north of Coaldale where they raised their children.
Helen was very hospitable and had many interests including, cooking and baking, crocheting and knitting, computer scrapbooking and reading.
She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her. She will remain in our hearts forever.
** Due to the sudden passing of Helen's beloved Bill, on August 29, 2021, visitation, interment and funeral service will be in honour of both Helen and Bill.
