Glenda Joyce Carley

Glenda Joyce Carley (nee Rioux) of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a lengthy illness at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the age of 60 years.

Glenda was born on October 22, 1962 in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Glenda is survived by her son Roy Rioux (Kayla Blackmore) with their daughter Savanna Rioux; a daughter Amber Carley and her children Summer, Autumn, Zack, Zane and Xavier and a daughter Chantal Carley. She is also survived by three sisters Darlene Wigley, Rachelle Rioux and Diane Rioux as well as many friends and coworkers.

Glenda was predeceased by her parents Terry and Kay Rioux and a sister Rose Stern.

Glenda’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff on 4A at the Chinook Regional Hospital along with the staff at St. Michael’s Palliative Care for all their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, consider making a Memorial Donation in Glenda’s name to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre in the Chinook Regional Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge with interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
