Genevieve (Hann) Kerr

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Genevieve Kerr on November 13, 2023, at the age of 93.

She is the loving Mother of Gwen (Ted) Geneau of Coalhurt, AB, Wally (Louise) Kerr of Lethbridge, AB, Brendan (Charlotte) Kerr, of Baynes Lake, BC, and Debbie (George) Roche of Lethbridge, AB. She was loved by her Grandchildren; Edward, Bradley, Meighan, Carli and Rory, her Great-grandchildren; Emylee, Eeston, Braxton and Paisley, plus her brother Edmund Hann and Sister Mary Pomeroy.

Genevieve was predeceased by her husband Wallace Kerr, and her friend Jack Lee, her brothers; Jack Hann, Bob Hann and Joseph Hann, and her daughter Shirley Kerr.

A beautiful and gentle soul, Genevieve was a wonderful mother, who was always there when anyone needed her. She had many friends and was well loved by all.

Cremation has been entrusted to Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home and as per Genevieve’s wishes, there will be a private family gathering as she is laid to rest with her husband Wallace in Fernie, BC at a later date.

The Kerr family would like to thank family and friends who have reached out, shared their love, memories and kindness through words and prayer.
