It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of EDWARD JONES on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
He was born in Blairmore to Teddy and May Jones on February 19, 1937.
Ed loved animals, camping, fishing and meeting friends at Bully’s for coffee and horse racing. He had many talents. He was a barber, a welder and drove city bus for over 25 years.
Ed was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, one brother, one niece and two nephews.
He is survived by his wife Jennie of 55 years, daughters Leanna (Cliff-deceased) Miyashiro, Laurie (Mark) Heinricks, a sister Muriel Woledge, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff of St. Michael’s Palliative Care for the kindness shown to Ed during his stay there.
At his request, no funeral service will be held.
