Dorothy Mary Hovey (Peacock)

December 19, 1935 – January 21, 2022

Dorothy passed away peacefully with her beloved husband, Ervin A. Hovey, by her side at the Raymond General Hospital, Long Term Care facility after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Michael) Quinton, Bart (Traci) Hovey and Phillip (Shirley) Hovey.  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mom was known for her kindness and had a great love for all animals.  She loved poetry and beautiful music and had an ability to play almost any instrument.  She had many friends and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

A cremation has taken place. There will be a small Graveside Service for immediate family on Wednesday, Jan 26th at 1:00 p.m. at the Magrath Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Bourne and all the staff at the Raymond Long Term Care facility.  They would also like to thank the staff at the Good Samaritans in Magrath.
