David. W. Carswell, of Lethbridge beloved husband of Beverly, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of 79 years.
Dave was born in Lucky Lake Saskatchewan, he moved to Lethbridge as a young man where he met his sweetheart, Beverly. Dave had many “careers” throughout his life, culminating with Walmart, which he loved, working alongside his son Michael. Dave was a prolific artist, and many people appreciated his “quirky style.” Dave loved fishing and was an avid collector of many things, but he especially loved his Coca Cola collection! Dave loved his rock and roll music and he loved it loud! His smiling face and happy go lucky attitude never let anything get him down, no matter what! We know Davey will be TCB and rocking wherever you are! You’ll be in our heart and on our minds always.
Besides his loving wife Beverly, David is survived by his daughter Sherri (Antony) Caldicott; two grandchildren Victoria & Connor Caldicott; brother Wayne Carswell and his mother-in-law Dixie Pratt. David was predeceased by his son Michael Carswell and his father-in-law John Pratt.
Friends may meet the family from 10:00am-10:45am on Wednesday January 31, 2024, at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Northside Chapel, 2213 6a Ave N, Lethbridge, Alberta. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am. David will be laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery.
