Bernie Billingsley

Bernie Billingsley passed away after a brief illness on January 21st, 2026. He is survived by his Sons, Chris (April) and Stacy (Alanna) Billingsley and his Grandchildren, Athena, Troy, Rupert and Ralph. Bernie will also be remembered by his sisters, Shirley and Sherri, Sister-in-law Mary Jane, as well as numerous other family members.

Bernie was predeceased by his parents, Devere and Duena Billingsley, and his siblings Darlyne Davies, Cassy Fandrick, Les and Kelly Keith Billingsley. He was also predeceased by his Nephew, Justin Bridgewater.

Bernie was born on August 22nd, 1956 in Cardston, Alberta. ‘Binky Beaumont’ or ‘Binx’ was an entrepreneur in many different ways and was even a proud owner of his own business in Lethbridge for a period of time. He met a lot of his lifelong friends through there and the music community. 

Binx was always the life of the party. If you needed to hear a good joke you’d just have to follow his laugh, and you’d catch the twinkle and wink of his eye. Binx loved a great cup of coffee, a game of crib or pool, killer tunes and a good smoke with his buddies. He was looking forward to the upcoming Olympics and the New York Giants and Calgary Flames just lost one of their biggest fans. Over and above, Bernie will miss the lights of his life, his Grandchildren.

A special thanks to Bernie’s longtime friends, Gary, Jack, Dave and Ricky. You’ve been there since the beginning and you were there right ‘til the end. We are so grateful Bernie is now at peace. Keep on rockin’ on up there Binx!
