Barbara Brown Davidson

Barbara Brown (Shields) Davidson, wife of the late Orvy Dahl Davidson, passed peacefully away at St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge Alberta on Friday October 19, 2018, in her 98th year.   The daughter of William Clyde and Lulu (Brown) Shields, Barbara was born in Lethbridge and raised with her eight brothers in Shaughnessy.  Her passing is mourned by two living children.  Her only daughter is Gail Doane with family Erin (Wil) Dobson, Megan (Matt) Tippetts, Lauren Christensen, Matt (Sean Edwards) Doane, Morgan Doane and Doireann Doane.  Her one surviving son is Laurie (Kathy) Davidson with family Jeff (Anja Shafer) Davidson, Katie (Chris) Laughman, Warren (Leanne) Davidson, Alison (Shane Page) Davidson, Heather (Ben) Kunz, Jorgen (Faith) Davidson and Elaine (Bruce) Hall.  Survived also by one brother Russell, she will be missed by 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.  Barbara was predeceased by her husband Orvy Dahl in 1987, by two infant sons Donald Keith and Gary Dahl, and by her grandson Michael Doane in 2008.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fairmont Chapel, 205 Fairmont Blvd South, Lethbridge between 9:30 and10:30 am on Wednesday October 24.  Funeral services will commence at 11:00, followed by interment in Mountain View Alberta, later in the afternoon.
