Priscilla May (Atwood) Gross

Gross, Priscilla May, of Claresholm, beloved wife of Paul Gross, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Extendicare on February 16, 2019 at the age of 78 years old. She died after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Born in Cardston, Alberta on August 12, 1940, Priscilla was married on December 27, 1966 to her loving husband Paul. They moved to Claresholm in 1966 and resided there for the majority of their married life while raising their children. Priscilla enjoyed a life-long love of cooking, painting, and exploring the outdoors. She had a generous, giving heart, and loved entertaining family and friends.

She is lovingly remembered as mother to Dale (Sandra) Gross (Claresholm), Paulette (Trevor) Wagenvoort (Champion), and Doug (Sondi) Gross (Edmonton); and, grandmother to ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brothers Ladell Atwood and Mervin (Verna) Atwood, and her sister Linda Hutton. Priscilla was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Atwood and Adra Taylor Atwood, her brother Ronald Atwood, sister-in-law Pam Atwood and brother-in-law Gary Hutton.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Claresholm Chapel, 4924 3rd Street E, Claresholm, AB. Interment to follow at Claresholm Cemetery.
