LaBelle Dixon Obituary

LaBelle Janet Dixon (Coward)

March 30, 1935 - November 29, 2019

LaBelle Dixon of Lethbridge, formerly of Parkland, Alberta and Ailsa Craig, Ontario, passed away at St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit leaving broken- hearted, her four children: Beth & Ralph Bohnert of Lethbridge, Gwen & Joel Dorchak of Enchant, Leroy & Denise Dixon of Sylvan Lake, and Murray & Shelley Dixon of Claresholm. She was a loving and proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and great-grandmother of six.

LaBelle was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Hiram, two brothers, a sister, several brothers and sisters-in-law and by her granddaughter, Heather.

Wherever LaBelle lived and worked she was blessed with a wide circle of friends. Mom was a great listener, possessing a sassy sense of humor and the ability to always brighten your day.

She enjoyed crafts - knitting, embroidery, rug hooking and creating personalized greeting cards that always included handwritten, meaningful verses and letters.

Friends wishing to join the family to celebrate LaBelle's life are invited to the Sunrise Lounge, 4th floor at Rio Vista Villa (behind the city police station on Scenic Dr.) 75 1 Ave. S. Lethbridge, on Saturday, December 7 from 2 to 4 p.m.
