ZoBell, Joanna Antonia (nee Ravoy)

On July 5, 2019 we said our final good-bye to our dear mother Joanna at the age of 92.

Born in Svedernik, Slovakia, at age of 9 years in 1935 Joanna moved to Canada where her family farmed in Raymond. In 1947 she married Bob ZoBell and they continued life in Raymond where they raised their 3 children, Toni ZoBell (Morley McGill-deceased), Steve ZoBell (Barb), and Walt ZoBell (Judy). Joanna also became a proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Brother to Louis (Valorie) Ravoy Sr. 

Known for her kindness and compassion towards others, Joanna was also an excellent cook, had an optimistic view of nature and was loved by and will be missed by many family members and friends.

Visitation will take place at Christensen Salmon Generations (703 13 St N Lethbridge) on Friday July 12 between 4:00 – 5:00 pm. Interment to take place at Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond at 10:00 am Saturday July 13, 2019. Celebration of life to follow at 11:30 am in Lethbridge at Christensen Salmon Generations.
