Florence Lily Closson

    Florence Lily Closson, of 77 years, passed away peacefully in Milk River, Alberta, on Thurs Oct 31, 2019.

    She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Lloyd Closson, and 3 of her children, Alice (Jonathan) Hamon, Millie (Gary) Jensen, and Leslie (Connie) Closson. She has 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Paul (Aundrea) Closson and granddaughter Crystal Skye Closson.

    Florence was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities including Temple Worker and ministering to the elderly and the sick. She and Lloyd served as Family History Missionaries in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved to serve her family. She loved to quilt, making many for her grandchildren and others, all sewn by hand.

    Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Coutts Chapel on Friday Nov 8, 2019 from 1-1:50 pm with meet the family and the Funeral will start at 2 pm. Interment to follow in Raymond Cemetery, Raymond AB.
