Catherine Scullen

1930 – 2019

Catherine Scullen, beloved wife of the late William Scullen, passed away peacefully at Legacy Lodge on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 89 years.

She is survived by her children Bill (Connie) Scullen of Regina, Sandra Shatz of Lethbridge and Shelly Unrau of Taber as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; one sister Sydney Smith and one brother Richard Barrington and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband, William Scullen, parents Thomas and Mabel Barrington, brothers Arthur and Walter Barrington, sister Audrey Pickit and son–in-laws Don Unrau and Brian Shatz.

Catherine was a faithful member of the Lethbridge Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Her family was also everything to her, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren who were her pride and joy.  Her door was always open and the first things you noticed was her smile and her love of reading. Her caring and loving nature touched the lives of everyone who was blessed to know her.

We will be honouring Catherine’s life with a private family service at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home on Friday, October 18, 2019 with James Wesley officiating.
