Carol Jean McCoy

Carol Jean McCoy was born in Magrath, Alberta on May 25, 1947, to the parents Ardella and Samuel Bennett. Carol met the love of her life Allan McCoy and was married in 1966. She and Allan had 3 children; Ronald, Eugene and Barbara. Carol has several Grand Children and Great Grand Children who she loved dearly.

She was very dedicated to her community and was involved in many charities, school events and almost anywhere she was needed. She had a passion for baking and loved to share her homemade treats with family and friends.

Carol worked many years at the Magrath Trading Company before changing her career into the Health Care System. Carol worked for the Magrath General Hospital until she retired. She resided in her family home until 2017, then she was placed into the care of the Good Samaritan’s Society- Prairie Ridge until she passed away on September 29, 2018. 

Her husband Allan would like to share his appreciation to the staff at Prairie Ridge, who ensured Carol was taken care of with the upmost dignity and respect.

At this time, we would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Generations Funeral Home for all their help and compassion.

A Celebration of Life for Carol will be held in May 2019.
