Alfred “Alf” Kaszuba of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the age of 75.
Alf was predeceased by his devoted wife, Pat Kaszuba. His parents and his brother.
Alf was born in Edmonton, Alberta on December 4, 1942 where he attended the University of Alberta, until 1964. He then began a long and successful career through Woodwards, Beneficial Finance, and then in 1973 he joined the Alberta Government’s Consumer and Corporate Affairs, staying with them until 1995. He then joined the Real Estate Council as a Manager of Licensing and Education Standards. This saw the first regulation of mortgage brokers in Canada. He finally retired in 2005 to enjoy his much-deserved golden years with his wife Pat, traveling, enjoying his family, and cheering for the Oilers and Eskimos.
Alf is survived by his 3 children, Ian (Heather), Glen, Jill (Al), 5 stepchildren Ingrid, Maureen (Bill), Heather(Adrian), Wayne, and Don (Bobbie); 21 grandchildren Ryan (Konya), Alex, Jared, Kyle (Eloise), Josh, Trista, Katie, Scott (Karissa), Mark, Blake, Jack, Mike, Bran, Joel (Emily), Sara (Nathan), Hayden, Kate, Nathan, Andrew, Willow and Xander.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB. at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Cliff Bogdan celebrant.
