Your father was a great symbol of integrity to me and our family. He stayed a true friend to my father and mother when it wasn't convenient or always pleasant to do so. He could always be counted on for an encouraging word when needed.
I worked for your father one summer driving his old "pig rig" to the oil sites. I was scared to death of that truck but your dad supported me and gave the confidence to finish the summer.
I will always be pleased to say I knew him.

Erma. Shane and Sheila, Shane, Craig and all of Bill and Erma's dear family,
So sorry that VJ and i are unable to be with you for the service today,, but we are thinking of you all with warmest sympathy. I have valued memories of the Bikman home in Park Royal---of Bill and Erma's warm welcome, good humor, interest and encouragement, as well as their fine example of loving care for each other that extended to St. Therese's.. Two outstanding individuals who made a great couple! Our continuing love and prayers.

On behalf of the citizens of the city of Lethbridge, I would like to express our sympathy and condolences to the Bikman family. Bill was a community leader and entrepreneur who played a vital role in building the economy of our city by providing delivery and transportation services. He was respected as an honest businessman and one who gave back to the community through his personal spirit of generosity and his active involvement with the Rotary Club. Bill Bikman was a respected role model and an inspiration to others. The Bikman family can be very proud of his contributions to our city.

I would like to send condolences to the family of Bill Bikman who passed away on September 7th, especially his wife Erma Rasmussen Bikman. I knew them both very well and always appreciated their friendship. Bill always taught his family a slogan that he practiced all his life, to "Make your word your bond". Bill was a great leader in all that he did. He always gave freely of his time in helping others, and anyone in need. He was a faithful leader in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I send all my thought, prayers and love to the family during this trying time.

All my love
Luella Grey Holt
