Leland Rex Byam

It is with heavy hearts the family of Leland Rex Byam announce his passing on Sunday January 28, 2018 after a short illness. 

Leland was born on April 30, 1959 in Lethbridge Alberta. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley Jack Byam and Mabel Dorothy (Schultz) Byam.

He is survived by his loving siblings Robert Byam, Jack (Jacky) Byam, Calvin (Janie) Byam, Brian Byam and Laurie (Terry) Doerksen as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who he dearly loved.

Leland was born and raised in Lethbridge where he attended LCI High School. He was very artistic and he loved to paint primarily Native Canadian Art and he had a love of photography which has blessed his family with beautiful memories of many special moments in our lives. He enjoyed being the photographer for Columbia House events and enjoyed being asked to be Santa Claus for Columbia House over the last few years. He loved to spend time with his family.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00am on Friday, February 2, 2018 at The Church of Latter-day Saints - Copperwood Chapel, 9 Keystone Terrace, Lethbridge, AB.
